Chocolate and Pregnancy
Attention mothers! A University of Helsinki study published in New Scientist magazine found that mothers who ate chocolate during pregnancy produced children who not only had more energy, but were less stressed and smiled more often. It is speculated that this is due to the magnesium in chocolate, which lowers hypertension. Chocolate also contains chemicals known as flavanoids, which are powerful antioxidants. The darker the chocolate, the better it is for your health. So all you future mothers can relax when you indulge.
